The NKL- and TALE-Codes Represent Hematopoietic Gene Signatures to Evaluate Deregulated Homeobox Genes in Hodgkin Lymphoma

Homeobox genes encode transcription factors which control basic processes in development and differentiation. Concerning the sequence conservation their homeobox, these are arranged into particular groups sharing evolutionary ancestry resembling function. We have recently described physiological expression patterns of two homeobox gene groups, NKL TALE, early hematopoiesis subsequent lymphopoiesis. The hematopoietic activities eleven nine TALE been termed as NKL- TALE-codes, respectively. Due to developmental impact genes, data indicate a key role for activity normal differentiation processes, including B-cell development. On other hand, aberrant TALE-code members or ectopic activation non-code frequently reported lymphoid malignancies, demonstrating oncogenic potential compartment. Here, we provide an overview established TALE-codes lymphopoiesis deregulated Hodgkin lymphoma, capability codes identify homeo-oncogenes malignancies.
